We are looking for you to work as a native language teacher and study advisor in Spanish within primary school. The Unit for Native Languages and Newcomers is a workplace characterized by well-being and commitment. The unit currently consists of a unit manager, deputy unit manager, and approximately 45 educators. Work is conducted at one or more of the municipality's 12 primary schools and Upplands-Bro Gymnasium. Job Description The assignment as a native language teacher and study advisor involves work within primary and secondary school. You are responsible for instruction, assessment, planning, and implementation of pedagogical work linked to governing documents and students' individual needs. At the unit, we place great emphasis on collaboration and co-planning across language boundaries. You participate in our collective development work at the unit together with your colleagues. You also collaborate with staff at the schools. You serve as a link between the knowledge and experiences the student brings from earlier and the school they encounter here. You are an important part of the school's values-based work. Who We Are Looking For Native language instruction is a very important part of the student's language development and goal achievement. You ideally have a pedagogical education as your foundation. We also see that you have: Spanish as a native language is a requirement. Experience in pedagogical work Good collaboration skills Very good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing Good computer proficiency A solution-focused approach It is meritorious to have Swedish teaching certification and experience with a language-developing work method. Even though you can travel by public transport between schools, we would like you to have access to your own car. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. The position requires a certificate from the police criminal records register. About the Position The position is limited-term until 270617, but may be extended.
