Do you have Romanian as your native language and want to work as a native language teacher? About Us As a native language teacher with us, you will teach students from all of the municipality's schools in their native language. Teaching takes place at Fuxernaskolan. You will become part of the multilingual unit and work closely with the head of the student welfare unit who is responsible for the operations. Together we work to strengthen students' language development and contribute to their knowledge development in school. The purpose of native language instruction is to give students the opportunity to develop their knowledge in and about their language. Native language has great importance for children's language development as well as for their identity, personality, and cognitive development. A well-developed native language provides good conditions for learning Swedish, other languages, and other school subjects. Instruction follows the curricula for primary school and adapted primary school, and grades are assigned according to the same principles as in other subjects. Your Role As a native language teacher, you are responsible for teaching the native language subject for students in grades 1-9 in the municipality's primary schools. In your role you will: - Teach native language to students in grades 1–9. - Plan, carry out, and follow up on instruction according to current governing documents. - Work with formative assessment and grading. - Create a stimulating learning environment that supports students' linguistic and personal development. - Collaborate with students' guardians and other school staff. - Use digital tools as support in instruction. Who Are You? We are looking for you who: - Are a certified native language teacher or have other academic education that can be considered suitable for pedagogical work. - Have experience teaching in Swedish schools. - Have documented proficiency in Swedish and Romanian. - Have computer skills and are accustomed to working with digital tools. We are looking for someone who is organized and self-directed and has good collaborative skills. You also have a strong ability to lead and motivate students in their learning. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
