We are in an exciting development phase and are now looking for an engaged and driven environmental engineer who wants to be part of the sustainability team at Borlänge Energi. The role is broad and you work across the entire operation, but a large part of your day will be spent ensuring that we conduct and develop our power and heat production in an environmentally and climatically sustainable way. You will be an important part of our team, responsible for environmental and climate reporting, monitoring, and compliance with environmental legislation. You coordinate permit matters, handle environmental-related oversight, and drive improvement work in the environmental and energy field. We offer a role with many contact points, both internally and externally, where you work closely with operations, authorities, and external control bodies. The role suits you if you like combining technical understanding with sustainability commitment and thrive in an environment where development and initiative are valued. Who are you? We are looking for someone with a relevant higher education degree in energy engineering, environmental science, or a related field, plus several years of experience working in the environmental or energy sector. You have knowledge of environmental legislation and reporting and are comfortable working in a structured and analytical manner. You also have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
