We are looking for an engaged, self-driven, and solution-oriented mechanic for our repair and maintenance department. About the role As a mechanic with us, you work at the heart of our production handling both preventive and acute maintenance tasks. The role involves significant personal responsibility where you are expected to act quickly, analyze problems, and carry out repairs independently. You will become an important part of our maintenance team and contribute directly to production stability, availability, and development. You will work closely with experienced colleagues in a modern and varied machinery park. With us, you will encounter everything from eccentric press lines to robotic welders, hydraulic edge presses, and roll-forming lines – an exciting environment for someone who enjoys technical challenges, and we would like to see that you have experience with this. Your work tasks include: Service and preventive maintenance of both our machinery and our vehicles such as forklifts, wheel loaders, and lifts. Troubleshooting and repair of acute production failures. Participation in new installations and modifications of machines and equipment. Participation in improvement work and work toward increased operational reliability. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is practical, self-driven, and confident in your professional role. You have a good understanding of mechanics and problem-solving and the ability to quickly adapt to different situations. You need to have: Experience with mechanical work in industry or similar activities. A genuine technical interest and experience troubleshooting and repairing machines independently. The ability to think logically, work structurally, and solve problems. Good communication skills and ease of collaboration. Experience from industry, preferably in maintenance. You are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. We place great importance on your personal qualities – curiosity, perseverance, and a willingness to develop are crucial. The position can be adapted based on your expertise and interests. Upper secondary education in vehicle technology, electronics, or industry is meritorious.
