Saint-Gobain Sweden, Isover is seeking a Mechanic for our process workshop in the Maintenance Department. About the Position As a mechanic with us, you work on both preventive and corrective maintenance of our production equipment. You become part of our Maintenance team together with, among others, mechanics, electrical and automation technicians, media, and stores. The work includes, among other things: Troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of machines and production equipment. Some tasks may be performed in hot environments, as the work in some cases takes place near the melting process. Welding in TIG and metal arc, bearing assembly and repair, troubleshooting and complete overhaul of our telemetry machines. Both in the workshop and on our production lines. Planned maintenance to ensure high operational reliability Participation in improvement work and projects within our WCM program (World Class Manufacturing) Collaboration with production to optimize processes and reduce downtime Your Profile We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys solving problems in a varied daily routine. You are comfortable working both independently and with others. To succeed in this role, we see that you are: Solution-oriented and initiative-taking Thorough and safety-conscious Communicative with good collaboration skills Since some work tasks take place in hot environments, it is important that you have good physical capability.
