We at TCM have just moved into our completely renovated facilities in central Söderhamn, with a large, newly renovated state-of-the-art bike workshop where we assemble, package, and service bikes that we ship throughout Sweden. We are about twenty employees in Söderhamn, of which nearly ten are mechanics - and now we're looking for you to become part of our team. As a bike mechanic with us, you are part of the heart of our operations, working in the workshop primarily assembling new premium bikes. We place great value on delivering first-class quality and service to all our customers through the bikes we sell and deliver, and the assembly workshop is therefore one of the cornerstones of our operations. In addition to assembling new bikes, there are also good opportunities to combine this with service and repairs, as well as work in our shop. Main responsibilities: Assemble new bikes for customers (for pickup in store, or to be shipped to customers throughout Sweden or Europe). Fine-tune and quality-test bikes for delivery. Assemble customer-selected accessories. Pack bikes in boxes for shipment to customers. Help out where needed in the form of service/repairs, warehouse work, shop, events, administration, and other tasks. You are flexible and find it natural to pitch in where needed - we are a growing company with great opportunities and where a lot is happening. About you To succeed in this role, you are a meticulous and technically-minded person. You don't necessarily need to be a cyclist or have previous experience as a bike mechanic, but it's advantageous and a basic requirement is good technical understanding and interest. You take great personal responsibility and are used to working efficiently even during peak season when there can be fast-paced work and a lot to do. You care just as much as we do that all products we hand over to our customers are of the highest quality. TCM is a company with great ambitions and strong growth. We have locations in two places in Sweden – Tyresö and Söderhamn – and depending on the season, we have a total of 30-40 employees. The company currently sells bikes and bike accessories for 115 million kronor via our e-commerce, where the majority of sales happen online and we ship bikes and accessories to customers throughout Sweden. In Söderhamn we have our headquarters, warehouse, and a shop, where we have just moved to Granvägen 1 in central Söderhamn. The facilities have been completely renovated and customized for our operations with a new, spacious workshop, new shop, new offices, employee facilities, warehouse, etc. Söderhamn is beautifully located by the sea, two hours north of Stockholm, 45 minutes from Gävle, and 30 minutes from Hudiksvall. TCM's new facilities are within a 10-minute walk from the train station and bus stop, which provides great commuting options.
