Your upcoming responsibilities will be varied and include administrative tasks such as medical record documentation, appointment scheduling, TeleQ, 1177, and possibly mail handling. Reception work as needed. About You You are trained as a medical secretary, physician secretary, or healthcare administrator. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish language and IT skills, preferably with experience in Cosmic and disease classification. You have a positive attitude, personal maturity, and a willingness to collaborate to achieve the best results for patients. You are service-oriented and self-directed, taking responsibility and organizing your work tasks. Great importance is placed on flexibility, the ability to switch between independent work and teamwork, and engagement in continuously improving operations. Your Future Workplace The Otolaryngology clinic consists of the ENT outpatient clinic, Hearing Care, Educational Hearing Care, and the Speech-Language Pathology clinic. We are approximately 60 employees collaborating with patients at the center: audiologists, otolaryngologists, hearing specialists, hearing educators, special educators, sign language teachers, hearing care technicians, speech-language pathologists, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. The specialty treats congenital and acquired diseases and injuries, encompassing both acute and non-acute conditions in patient groups of all ages. Our primary service area covers approximately 140,000 residents in the southern part of Kalmar County. We operate from modern, well-equipped facilities with our own inpatient beds in a shared care unit and surgical resources at the central operating room. Kalmar Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. It is an acute care hospital with specialized care, maternity services, and postpartum care. Over 2,300 employees work here to provide excellent care and high patient safety to the county's residents.
