Your Role In the sheet metal and welding workshop at Saab Kockums Muskö, you will join a team where everyone plays an important role in the goal of completing naval vessels and preparing them for operation. You will have a variety of different work tasks with an emphasis on refurbishment and reconstruction. Your initiatives and creative solutions play an important role for vessels of different ages and sizes. The work is varied and you will be given good opportunities to develop your craftsmanship and professional skills. Examples of work tasks: Welding and sheet metal work on vessel refurbishment and reconstruction Manufacturing of custom-made parts Inspections of, for example, anchor chain, life raft arrangements, etc. Various workshop tasks Work is performed both onboard vessels and in the workshop. Domestic travel may occur. Working hours are daytime, and shift work may occur. Your Profile At Saab Muskö, it is important that you have the right attitude, strong drive, and the desire to develop. Requirements Experience in industry or workshop Basic knowledge of welding and sheet metal work Strong interest in technology Class B driver's license The position requires that you can express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. The position requires that you undergo and are approved in accordance with applicable regulations for security vetting.
