Alfa Laval in Ronneby is seeking a Measurement Technician for our new measurement room/measurement lab Would you like to be part of starting up a completely new process and ensuring quality in our production? About the Role As a measurement technician, you will have a central role in our new measurement room/measurement lab. You will be an important part of the startup and get to work with the latest equipment that is coming to Ronneby. You are responsible for measuring, verifying, and documenting measurement results according to requirements and specifications, and you contribute to developing and securing the processes from the start. You collaborate with production, R&D, engineering, and quality teams, and support colleagues with measurement expertise and training. In your work, you use everything from manual measuring instruments to advanced equipment such as coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and 3D scanners. Main Responsibilities Work with coordinate measuring machine (CMM) with 3D scanner Handle CAD models as reference material Program CMM Perform measurement and inspection of parts according to drawings and specifications Conduct first-piece inspections, sample inspections, and final inspections Prepare and document measurement reports Responsible for organization, calibration, and maintenance of measuring equipment together with the team Who Are You? You are meticulous, analytical, and have a structured work approach. You are service-minded and have good communication skills and enjoy supporting colleagues. You want to develop your skills in measurement technology and want to be part of building new measurement processes.
