We are now seeking a measurement engineer with experience in technical measurements, analysis, and evaluation. Here you will be a key person in projects that ensure the Swedish Armed Forces receives equipment and technology that works when it really matters. About the Position As a measurement engineer focused on environmental durability, you will be a key person in FMV's work with verification and validation within Test & Evaluation Land. You work with advanced technical measurement systems and contribute to developing and ensuring the measurement capabilities that form the basis for some of Sweden's most important defense projects. The role includes planning and conducting measurements in connection with testing activities as well as evaluating, analyzing, and reporting results. You are responsible for ensuring that measurement systems and equipment are always calibrated and functional and serve as support for clients in selecting measurement methods and standards. Beyond this, you participate in the department's development work, where you contribute to improving both measurement and evaluation methods. As a measurement engineer, you also contribute to managing test system resources and performing maintenance and operation of equipment. You will become part of a knowledge-intensive team of experts in measurement technology, testing, and environmental conditions, where you together drive the development of future testing capacity. The position is located in Karlsborg. Travel and service at other locations may be part of the position. About You We are looking for someone with technical education at least at the upper secondary level or equivalent competence acquired in other ways. You also have current and relevant work experience in measurement technology, analysis, evaluation, and report writing. To succeed in the role, you also have experience with practical and technical problem-solving and have a driver's license (category B). It is meriting if you have experience with cooling and heating system controls or experience working with X-ray equipment. We would like to see that you have experience in measurement technology or control and regulation equipment as well as knowledge of IT network management. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of CAD and 3D printers or industrial X-ray. It is also meriting, but not required, if you have relevant post-secondary education.
