We connect a greener world. www.nkt.com Job description: Become part of a global company and a key contributor to the green energy transition Our extrusion line in Karlskrona is expanding its team and is now seeking machine operators who want to work for a global company and contribute to the green energy transition. Shift work with problem-solving and strong focus on quality and safety As a machine operator, you handle all work tasks within your area of responsibility – from preparation and setup of upcoming production to execution and follow-up. Together with your team, you ensure that production runs as planned and guarantee quality at every step. You enjoy tinkering and adjusting when needed, and you like tackling problems that need quick solutions. Safety is number one and permeates everything we do. Work will be conducted on a 5-shift schedule, which means varied working hours including days, nights, and weekends. Your main responsibilities include: • Machine and equipment preparation and setup • Operating monitoring • Quality assurance work • Material handling • Collaboration with other shifts and support departments such as production engineering, quality, and project departments Curious, engaged, and thorough To thrive with us, you should be curious, engaged, and interested in developing according to established goals. The work requires you as a machine operator to have the ability to follow given instructions and document completed work according to applicable procedures. Structure and meticulousness characterize your work, while discipline and the ability to adapt align with your qualities. A large portion of the work tasks are manual, which requires you to be technically skilled and thorough in your work. To succeed in this role, you are comfortable handling changes at short notice and enjoy working both in a team and independently. In addition to the above, you should have the following experience: • Technical background at high school level or higher education • Several years of experience working in industry • Speak and write fluent Swedish and English • You must be comfortable working at heights. • You must feel confident working in elevator environments.
