Markverkstäderna, MvE, is a unit within the Army Staff, AST, that performs maintenance on Swedish Armed Forces ground equipment, air base equipment, and provides technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspections. The Ground Workshop unit delivers services according to customer requirements. Check out this link: https://youtu.be/jDWtiZdUfSk Main Responsibilities We are now seeking technicians for the special details department in Revingehed, where the main responsibilities will be to perform service and maintenance on various equipment used within the Swedish Armed Forces, such as base materials, containers, work tools, cars, and power generators. The work also involves preventive and corrective maintenance as well as modification and disposal of equipment. We will offer internal training on systems and equipment as we work with unique products. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications At least completed two- or three-year secondary education with a focus on technical studies or equivalent competence acquired through work experience as assessed by the employer to be equivalent Experience from similar work Computer skills with knowledge of MS Office package, primarily Word and Excel Good knowledge of technology and troubleshooting B-driver's license Refrigeration certification Personal Qualities You are a team player who works well both independently and in groups. As a technician, you are structured, decisive, and make correct assessments and prioritizations. You are flexible and can easily shift your focus and adapt to a changing environment. Furthermore, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude toward the work and the operation, and who is willing to learn and develop your skills as a technician.
