Margarethahemmet Vårdcentral is a well-established and attractive health center in Knivsta with approximately 7,800 registered patients. It is beautifully located in a turn-of-the-century setting right next to Lake Valloxen. We are now seeking a specialist physician in general medicine to join our welcoming team. Our health center currently has specialist physicians in general medicine, resident physicians, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, a care coordinator, a dietitian, physician secretaries, and receptionists. At the end of 2025, we opened our new child health clinic branch in Alsike. Our goal is to get closer to families in Alsike and provide safe, personal, and competent child healthcare. Job Responsibilities Typical duties of a general medicine specialist at a health center. You will have scheduled appointments with booked patients as well as emergency patients, and you will conduct chat and digital visits. If you are motivated by supervising resident and trainee physicians, there are good opportunities for that. As a general medicine specialist at the health center, the work will be shaped as much as possible according to your interests and experience. We have extensive collaboration between professions here, which we value and expect you to become part of. Qualifications You are a specialist in general medicine with the authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
