Work Tasks As a secondary school teacher, you have clear classroom leadership and are a positive role model. Together with the work team, you are responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation. We are looking for someone with experience adapting instruction for students who need clarifying pedagogy and who has the ability to think outside the box. Students' conditions and needs guide the measures. This means you need to have a good ability to adapt instruction individually and in groups for the students you are responsible for. You have a good ability to collaborate and look at the whole picture from the student's perspective. As a teacher in an adapted instructional setting, you are responsible for adapting instruction for students who need clarifying pedagogy. Students' conditions and needs guide the measures. Your work is based on modern educational research, and you have a clear focus on ensuring that each individual succeeds. In this assignment, we expect you to: Work with early, preventive, and inclusive measures. Have experience making pedagogical interventions in the classroom for and with students and, when needed, meet individual students based on a motivation assignment. Critically and independently take initiative to, analyze, and participate in preventive work and contribute to removing obstacles and difficulties in various learning environments. You are responsible for developing and following up intervention plans. Create good results and high student participation so the student discovers their capacity, finds motivation, and becomes aware of their learning process. About the Activity Lillhagaskolan is Nykvarns Municipality's only municipal upper secondary school (grades 7-9). The school is located in a residential area near Nykvarns center, with direct access to forest and nature. The school has 470 students distributed across three work teams and 20 classes. We are an experienced staff group with 55 employees. For students with significant challenges, we have an adapted instructional setting. The 18-24 students placed here have a modified schedule in dedicated facilities on the school grounds. Two teachers and two teaching assistants are assigned to the group and are responsible for the children's entire school day. The assignment includes, in addition to adapted instruction, social skills training such as recess activities, outings, meal routines, and similar tasks. Qualifications Students in the adapted instructional setting have a great need for predictability and a relationship-based approach. The small work team needs to have an open climate and well-functioning collaboration to succeed with the task. You collaborate easily and show that you are interested in feedback to always find one more way for shared development. Since two teachers are responsible for much of the instruction, you need to be a certified teacher and qualified to teach mathematics and science at the upper secondary level. We would like it if you have training or experience in NPF. Other Information In Nykvarns Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied.
