If you want to be part of this, you are warmly welcome. We are now seeking meal services staff for one of our preschool kitchens within the newly formed Food Services Unit in Norberg Municipality. With us, you will be an important part of creating a pleasant dining environment for our youngest guests. The Position and Responsibilities Your work will include preparing breakfast, preparing for and serving lunch, and serving snacks. Salads and various accompaniments are prepared for lunch. Lunch meals are delivered from our preparation kitchen at Engelbrektsskolan 4–9. The preschool serves approximately 60 lunch portions per day and has three departments. Other tasks included in the role: - Handle dishwashing - Manage daily cleaning routines in the kitchen - Handle special diets - Work with self-inspection (digital program) - Purchasing food and supplies - Receive deliveries - Administrative work - Possible work with children's groups in the afternoon Your Qualifications and Competencies We are looking for someone with training in culinary arts and several years of kitchen work experience. You need good knowledge of food hygiene. Good verbal and written skills in Swedish are required for this position. Experience with special diets is a merit. As a person, you are flexible and able to adapt easily to changing circumstances. You can quickly shift your perspective and work approach and see opportunities in change. You work well with others and relate to people in an attentive, smooth, and professional manner. By listening, communicating clearly, and handling any conflicts constructively, you contribute to a good working climate.
