Job Duties We are now looking for a Meal Service Assistant with great passion for food and service for a temporary position. You will be placed at the Sörgården preschool in Lanna. Your task includes sharing your passion for food with all our important guests, which consists of children and educators. The duties of a Meal Service Assistant include: • working to ensure that the food served maintains high quality according to the Food Agency's guidelines "Good Food in Preschool". • preparing salads • planning • ordering • dishwashing • other common kitchen work tasks. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: • has experience in large-scale catering, hotels and restaurants, or equivalent documented experience that the employer deems relevant for the position • has knowledge of self-inspection, food hygiene, and special diets • can communicate well in Swedish as it is of utmost importance that the right guest receives the right diet when it comes to different special diets. It is a merit if you have experience with special diets for children. It is desirable if you have experience from both the private restaurant industry and public catering. As a person, you are attentive and solution-focused. You are thorough, flexible, and service-oriented. You can collaborate as well as work independently. You think it is important with climate-smart and sustainable food, and can communicate your knowledge and passion for food. You understand the significance of your work for the overall operations.
