Salary Department The Salary Unit is part of the Finance Department and handles approximately 2,000 salary payments every month. The unit consists of four salary consultants who together ensure professional, quality-assured, and efficient salary management for the municipality's operations. We are in an exciting development phase where digitalization, automation, and development of our salary processes are in focus. With us, improvement work is a natural part of everyday life, and we are now looking for you to help shape the future of the salary function. Job Responsibilities As a salary consultant, you work broadly within the salary field and are responsible for ensuring a correct, efficient, and digital salary process. You work both with details in ongoing work and with the overall salary process. An important part of the assignment is to contribute to the development of the salary process through digitalization and improvement work. You work to identify and reduce manual tasks and develop more efficient and quality-assured working methods that support operations throughout the municipality. In the ongoing work, you handle, among other things, registration of employment, management of absences and allowances and deductions, work with monitoring and alert lists, pension administration, as well as control and quality assurance of salary data and payments. You also handle ongoing salary questions and provide support to managers on salary-related matters and in the use of digital self-service tools. The role includes salary management for both the municipality and a company, which means working within several different agreement areas. Requirements Education in salary management or equivalent education At least 3 years of experience in qualified salary work Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Good system experience and an interest in digital solutions Merits Experience driving digitalization or improvement projects Experience with salary systems, preferably eCompanion Experience with pension administration Experience with salary work in municipal operations and its regulations Personal Qualities We see that you as an applicant are an engaged and driven person who thrives in an operation under development.
