Lundellska School is a secondary school with approximately 1500 students located in a stimulating beautiful environment on Campus Polacksbacken. We all work together for the students to succeed as well as possible with their studies based on their circumstances. The path to this involves good knowledge, good relationships, good leadership, and not least a pleasant, fine, and well-maintained work environment. The position is shared with Meal Service, which operates restaurants and kitchens within the municipality's operations and constantly strives for development. An important part of this is sustainable meals and gradually increasing organic purchases. Description of Work Tasks Starting early in the morning at 06:00, you will begin as a facilities maintenance worker at the school where the task is to create a good indoor and work environment through professional cleaning and ensure that spaces such as classrooms, corridors, restrooms, and other areas maintain high hygienic standards. You are part of the school's facilities maintenance team which, together with the team leader, plans and divides up the work. Facilities maintenance work runs until approximately 10:00 in the morning. After that, the job as meal service assistant begins in the school's restaurant operated by Meal Service. There you will be available to guests during lunch. You work on a rotating schedule where you take turns in the dishwashing area and the dining area, as well as other customary kitchen tasks. It is important to have knowledge of the ingredients in the food and be able to explain them so that guests with allergies, for example, receive allergen-safe and good food. The day ends with cleaning the school restaurant and kitchen. Qualifications We are looking for you who have secondary school education or equivalent for service professions in hotels, restaurants, and similar fields. Previous experience in facilities maintenance, kitchen, restaurant, service work, and various types of youth activities is considered a merit. In your work you take initiative and start activities that produce good results. You take responsibility for your task and structure your own work approach, and drive your work forward.
