We are seeking a facilities cleaner for a fixed-term position during the 2026/27 school year in the eastern area of Ånge Municipality. We are a catering and facilities management unit with approximately 50 employees. The Facilities Management Unit's mission includes cleaning preschools, schools, sports halls, offices, and facilities where municipal activities take place. We are now looking for an employee to join the eastern area's work team and who, together with their colleagues, will ensure that the municipality's facilities are clean and well-maintained, thus contributing to creating safe and pleasant indoor environments. Job Duties Your main responsibilities are to perform daily cleaning, periodic cleaning, and floor maintenance using both manual methods and cleaning machines. Washing and cleaning of cleaning materials and equipment is part of the assignment, as is window cleaning during the season. You will order and stock consumable materials and report any defects as needed. Your assignment includes following routines and guidelines and working to achieve the facilities management objectives. As an employee, you are expected to actively contribute to a good work environment and pleasant workplace. Qualifications Since the work is carried out at different locations in the eastern area, a B-class driver's license and access to your own vehicle are requirements for the position. To work as a facilities cleaner with us, you need to have a high school diploma Knowledge of different cleaning methods Knowledge of ergonomics Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, so that you can communicate with colleagues, students, and staff who work in the municipality's facilities. Computer skills Meritorious Professional cleaning certification, such as PRYL or SRY More than three months of work as a facilities cleaner in school or preschool operations About the Organization We are looking for someone who wants to help create pleasant working facilities for students and employees in Ånge Municipality. Other Information Working hours are scheduled daytime, weekdays. The work is physically demanding with periods of high pace.
