The Infrastructure Department We are looking for additional staff members for Facilities at SLU Ultuna. Are you the person we're looking for? About the Job As a Facility Cleaner, you and your colleagues play an important role in ensuring the overall experience in our facilities. Together, you will create an environment that conveys a safe, attractive, modern, and sustainable workplace for our employees and all students. You will primarily work with cleaning but may also have other tasks such as refilling water and coffee machines, etc. Your Background We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, attentive, responsible, and takes initiative. Your ability to collaborate is very strong, your social skills are high, and you enjoy working in a team but can also work independently. No previous experience in facilities management is necessary—you will work closely with competent colleagues who will guide and support you in your role. If you have prior experience, it is a merit. SLU is a workplace with many different nationalities, so a requirement is that you can communicate clearly in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Requirements: - Upper secondary education - B-class driver's license - Swedish (spoken and written) - English (spoken and written) About Us The Infrastructure Department, Infra, is part of the central operations support at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Infra is tasked with providing cost-effective, customized, and well-functioning service solutions both locally at our main locations in Umeå, Uppsala, and Alnarp, where we are represented, as well as contributing to service development across all of SLU. Overall, the department also manages facilities supply issues and lease administration, and guides and provides competency support in environmental and safety matters. We and our employees are expected to actively contribute to the university's development through engagement and initiative. Infra has approximately 120 employees and generates annual revenue of around 110 million SEK.
