Quick Facts About the Job Scope: Part-time Duration: Permanent Employment Type: Permanent or Fixed-term Employment About the Job We are now seeking certified teachers for grades 3-6 to teach Spanish and crafts respectively at Montemini Hbg's Montessori School. We offer a smaller setting and an operation with close relationships with both colleagues, children/students, and guardians. The operation also has close collaboration with the principal's representatives, and together we work based on well-functioning structures and clear guidelines to develop the operation's quality. Processes and decision-making paths are short, and you can quickly see the results of decisions made. Job Description Your responsibilities include planning, teaching, and continuously following up on students' knowledge development, as well as other relevant work tasks. Together with your work team, you share collective responsibility for all students' well-being and safety during the school day. We work based on Maria Montessori's thoughts and research on learning, which includes, for example, teaching being conducted in mixed-age groups. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher for grades 3-6 or grades 1-6. You feel confident in your professional role and have good knowledge of current curriculum guidelines. You work in a structured and goal-oriented manner and are well versed in the entire teaching process, from planning and implementation to follow-up and assessment/grading. Montessori training or experience with Montessori pedagogy is a merit.
