We are strengthening our team and are looking for a licensed psychologist to our consultation clinic at Verkstaden Health Center in Arvika. Your Workplace Verkstaden Health Center has approximately 18,200 listed patients and we have all the competencies that belong to a traditional health center. We have a strong commitment to educating future healthcare professionals. Work with mental health at the primary care level spans a broad field of work with patients aged 18 and older. As a psychologist, you primarily work with evidence-based psychological treatment, to some extent crisis management and supportive conversations. Your responsibilities also include screening for neuropsychiatric issues and differential diagnosis in more serious mental health conditions. You will have physical visits at the clinic, but the possibility of digital treatment contacts exists. We strive for short waiting times for an initial assessment and good accessibility based on each patient's individual needs. We see continuous development and improvement as an important part of our work, as well as developing care and treatment for mental health issues. Supervision and further education are a natural part of the work. Of course, you work in a multidisciplinary manner and collaborate with internal and external partners. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for you as a licensed psychologist with experience in treatment work. It is an advantage if you have previous experience from working in primary care. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. We appreciate that you are a positive and engaged person, flexible, have good collaboration skills, and are comfortable working independently. You take responsibility for your tasks, are thorough, and strive for high quality in your work. You structure your own way of working together with other professions at the health center.
