You have that opportunity here, as a physical therapist you will work within both special housing, ordinary housing, and LSS/psychiatry. Here you have the conditions to put your own mark on how you want to work as a physical therapist and be part of the challenging journey that the municipal operations is facing with more advanced healthcare in the home. The Rehabilitation Team consists of 2 Physical Therapists, 3 Occupational Therapists, and 2 Rehabilitation Assistants. Work Tasks As a physical therapist with us in Perstorp, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. You have overall rehabilitation responsibility together with the occupational therapist. You perform assessment, training, evaluation and follow-up, as well as fitting and follow-up of technical aids based on the physical therapist's prescription rights. The work also includes informing, instructing, and guiding staff, patients, and relatives regarding rehabilitation and preventive measures. Close collaboration occurs with other professionals, teamwork, and work with hospital discharges and planning based on "My Plans" when patients are to go home from inpatient care. Weekend work may occur on certain weekends and holidays, as it involves monitoring patients who are admitted to the hospital and may potentially be discharged on weekends. Documentation is done in the Lifecare management system. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed physical therapist. It is a merit if you have previous experience in this work. For this assignment, you need to have the ability to independently plan and organize your work, but also to collaborate well with other functions both internally and externally. You need to be flexible as work tasks can vary. We want you to have a genuine interest and commitment to working with people, you enjoy and are stimulated by challenges, and you place great importance on good treatment of others.
