Placement: Rehabilitation Unit - Sölvesborg Municipality. As an occupational therapist with us, we offer you varied, engaging, and stimulating work. Within the municipality, we operate a smoke-free workplace and offer wellness subsidies or wellness time. We also offer flexible working hours within the operation through a flexible time agreement. The workplace consists of six occupational therapists, four physiotherapists, and a rehabilitation nursing assistant. We are divided and located in two places: an office in the countryside in Mjällby and an office in Falkvik in Sölvesborg. Responsibility areas are geographically divided, and we gather the entire work team one day a week in Sölvesborg, which provides good collegial support in daily work and opportunities for professional development together. We are looking for someone with experience or interest in working as an occupational therapist in both home health care and at special housing (SÄBO). We are also responsible for the municipality's LSS activities. RESPONSIBILITIES As an occupational therapist, you are responsible for assessment, implementation, and follow-up of occupational therapy interventions as well as trial and prescription of assistive devices. Based on the patient's activity capacity, you assess needs for, for example, training, compensatory measures such as assistive devices, or environmental adaptation. You prioritize and organize your workday both independently and together with your colleagues based on the cases you are responsible for. We place great emphasis on collaboration with other professionals regarding and with the care recipient and their relatives. The health and care organization actively works on continuous quality improvement; openness and an interest in developing the operation are required. There is an opportunity to get involved in specific areas and drive improvement work. Your work also includes supervising and delegating to staff, and you document according to applicable laws and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist. It is advantageous if you have experience from municipal operations, but it is not a requirement. We would like to see that you have experience and/or interest in helping to develop our rehabilitation activities together with other staff. As a person, you are solution-focused, structured, and have a professional demeanor. You have a positive view of people, are attentive, and can see to the individual's needs. You find it easy to collaborate but are also comfortable working independently. You are positive and contribute to a good work environment. A Class B driver's license for a manual transmission car is required. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date by agreement. According to the law (2026:43) on criminal record checks for work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record upon a job offer. In connection with reference checks, we will also request extracts from the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) regarding any supervisory matters and extracts from the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed health and care personnel.
