We welcome your application! 3 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a Companion, you support a person with a functional disability to live an active, social, and meaningful everyday life. You work based on the interests and activities our clients have or wish to do. This can range from playing board games, engaging in sports, going to the theater, visiting museums, or having coffee together. As a Respite Care Provider in the home, your role is to relieve parents and provide quality time to the child/children through play both indoors and outdoors. This can involve anything from playing football, jumping on a trampoline, spending time together, crafting, singing, making music, drawing, or reading a book. Assignments vary from multiple visits per week to one visit every other week, and you plan your schedule together with the client. When you submit an application, you will answer a question about which days and times you can work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who communicates well in Swedish both spoken and written, so you can communicate freely with the client. It is advantageous if you: • have worked with children previously • have experience working with people with functional variations • have knowledge and experience with neuropsychiatric functional disabilities We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and values making a difference in someone else's daily life. As a person, you are a good listener, considerate, and show understanding for others. You are responsible and provide security to those around you.
