What we offer you Björkhagaskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school with approximately 320 students in central Söderköping. We adapt teaching based on students' differences and needs. We have fully equipped facilities for wood and metal crafts. Job Description We are seeking a crafts teacher, wood and metal, to teach grades 2-6 at Björkhagaskolan and grades 4-6 at Bergaskolan. You will be part of a work team with other educators at the middle school level and also participate in the municipality's network for crafts teachers. With students' best interests in focus, you collaborate with other staff and participate in the school's work to develop operations in accordance with national and local governing documents. You are an important part of children's entire day at school. You collaborate with the textile crafts teacher. You take responsibility for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating your teaching. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is concerned with creating meaningful learning for students and has adequate teacher training with certification. You are well familiar with the curriculum. You work in a structured manner with clear boundaries and frameworks to support students. You can attend to both the individual student's and the group's needs. You create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and actively participate in the work team's and school's shared tasks. You contribute ideas, solutions, and experience.
