The Education Department is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school care, upper secondary school, adult education, and child and student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees work here together to create a safe and developmental school and childcare. Västerportskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 620 students and 80 employees. JOB DUTIES As a teacher at Västerportskolan, you are part of a work team where you work with colleagues to provide our students with the best conditions for achieving learning goals. Teaching takes place in grades 1-3. You plan and deliver instruction in an engaged and goal-oriented manner, and you follow up, assess, and document students' knowledge development. Mentoring and pedagogical lunch are part of the role. Västerportskolan uses digital tools in daily work, which requires good IT skills and experience using digital tools. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a certified primary school teacher for grades 1-3. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where every student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you conduct work that puts student learning at the center. You are an engaged teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You have positive expectations for students and the ability to communicate these in a motivating spirit. You approach students' perspectives when, together with other staff and leadership, you organize, drive, and develop the school's work. You collaborate easily and communicate well—your students know what they can do, where they are going, and how to get there. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent position.
