For the fall semester, we are seeking committed staff members for several different roles within Eskilstuna primary schools. This is a collective announcement for positions where there is a need at the start of the term. When new needs arise at our schools, we will match incoming applications with available positions. Please note that these are examples of positions that may become available; which positions become available varies based on need. Below you can read more about each type of position. Teacher in preschool class: You teach the youngest students in preschool class. At many schools, this is combined with work in after-school care. Teacher in after-school care: You plan and lead educational activities during after-school hours and are an important resource in a class during the school day. Teacher in grades 1-3: As a classroom teacher in the lower grades, you teach most subjects. Exceptions include, for example, physical education, music, and crafts. Teacher in grades 4-6: Here you work either as a classroom teacher in multiple subjects or as a subject teacher, for example in mathematics or natural sciences. Teacher in grades 7-9: You are a subject teacher and teach students in one or more subjects. If you teach practical or aesthetic subjects, such as physical education, home economics, music, or crafts, you may work with students from multiple grade levels. Regardless of role, you will: • Plan and conduct instruction. • Support students' academic and social development. • Maintain contact with guardians. • Collaborate with colleagues on your team. • Build positive relationships and resolve conflicts when needed. You will always have the support of colleagues and a team that works together for students' benefit. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has completed teacher education and holds teacher certification with the competence to teach the subject you are interested in working with. It is also acceptable if you are currently completing teacher training that will be finished soon. You have experience teaching according to LGR22 through work or practice teaching. You are a confident and clear leader who is good at adapting instruction to students' needs. It is important that you are an engaged, responsible, and solution-focused person who enjoys the fact that no two days are alike. It is also important that you have the ability to collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Indefinite.
