The Children and Education Department in Bollnäs Municipality is responsible for preschools, preschool classes, after-school programs, primary schools, and adapted primary schools. Alirskolan is a primary school and adapted primary school with approximately 300 students in the 2026–2027 school year. We have a well-functioning student support team consisting of a counselor, psychologist, school nurse, study and career advisor, special education teacher, and two specialist teachers. About the Position The position is a permanent employment at 100% with a start date of August 12, 2026. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period. Your Assignment with Us As a teacher at Alirskolan, you will teach Social Studies, possibly in combination with another subject, in grades 7–9. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction with student learning and development at the center. You are part of a work team where collaboration, dialogue, and shared responsibility are natural parts of everyday work. Together with colleagues, student support staff, and school leadership, you participate in the school's improvement efforts and contribute to instruction that is clear, inclusive, and meaningful for students. Who Are You? We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications in Social Studies, possibly in combination with another subject, for grades 7–9.
