The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school programs, upper secondary school, adult education, as well as child and student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees work here together to create a safe and developing school and childcare. Västerportsskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 620 students and 75 employees. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher at Västerportsskolan, you join a work team where you work together with colleagues to provide our students with the best conditions for achieving learning goals. Teaching takes place in grades 4-6. You plan and deliver instruction in an engaged and goal-oriented manner, and you follow up, assess, and document students' learning development. Mentoring and pedagogical lunch are part of the assignment. Västerportsskolan uses digital tools in daily work, which requires good IT skills and experience using digital tools. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6. If you are also qualified for grades 1-3, this is particularly meritorious. You are a secure and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where each student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you conduct work that places student learning at the center. You are an engaged teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their learning development. You have positive expectations of students and have the ability to communicate these in a motivating spirit. You start from the students' perspective when, together with other staff and management, you organize, run, and develop the school's work. You are good at collaborating and you have good communication—your students know what they can do, where they are going, and how to get there. Salary form: Monthly salary.
