Join us on our journey. At Åbyskolan, we work in teams, both by grade level and in mixed-age groups with a holistic perspective on students' entire school day. We are approximately 55 staff members working towards students' goal achievement and well-being based on an inclusive and health-promoting approach. Your assignment: You will become part of the after-school program team and be responsible for planning and implementing activities with children at the after-school program both during regular school days and during school breaks. Working hours are according to schedule (variation between 6:30–18:00, Fridays rotating) but may need to be adjusted based on operational needs. What we are looking for in you We are seeking a person who wants to help develop our after-school activities. You are a trained after-school program teacher. You are engaged, have clear ideas about how a good program should function, and you have the ability to implement your ideas. You contribute to meaningful break-time activities and want to develop that part of the program. You have good collaborative skills and enjoy working together with your colleagues in the workplace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. During after-school hours, you will work to develop students' knowledge, social skills, and abilities based on the after-school program curriculum, Lgr 22, chapters 1, 2, and 4, as well as based on students' needs, interests, and experiences. You meet students individually and spread a positive atmosphere around you. You create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work both independently and together with others. You are a clear leader both as a teacher in music or sports and as a staff member in after-school care. You have an eye for what students and the program need in terms of support. It is a merit if you have experience with CPS. We welcome your application! Haninge Municipality requires an extract from the criminal record register upon employment. You will need to provide a new complete extract with verification of your own information.
