Sotenässkolan is now seeking an engaged and skilled teacher in mathematics, natural sciences, and English for grades 7–9. As a teacher, you plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction with a focus on high quality and good goal attainment. Responsibilities In your role as a teacher in MA/NO/EN, you will: Plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction in your subjects Adapt instruction based on students' different needs and conditions Create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where students are involved Build and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians Work purposefully so that each student achieves as much as possible in their knowledge development Use digital tools as a natural part of instruction Actively contribute to the school's development work and collegial learning Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Is a certified teacher with authorization in mathematics, natural sciences, and English for grades 7–9 Has good pedagogical insight and can adapt instruction to meet students' needs Is confident in your leadership and creates order and engagement in the classroom Is structured, self-directed, and takes responsibility for your assignment Has the ability to work goal- and results-oriented Is relationship-building and contributes to a positive and inclusive school environment Enjoys collaborating and sharing experiences with colleagues We place great importance on personal suitability.
