Kungsängsgymnasiet in beautiful Sala is seeking an experienced and dedicated German language teacher. We preferably would like you to also have certification to teach Swedish, or at least German combined with another subject. About the Workplace Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern upper secondary school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. Our goal is for every student to succeed, and for three years we have received support from the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Collaboration for the Best School." Students feel safe and enjoy school, which is reflected in our safety surveys, and we have a high proportion of qualified teachers. Job Responsibilities As a teacher with us, you will teach German in the national programs. The position includes teaching at beginner, basic, and advanced levels, which are distributed across four groups. You will be part of an engaged team and work closely with colleagues within your program area and subject group and closely with the student guidance team. You will be part of the program team in the economics program. We Are Looking for You If You hold certification, have pedagogical experience, and can teach German and an additional subject at upper secondary level. We preferably would like you to also have certification to teach Swedish at upper secondary level. You have excellent collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and other staff. You are flexible, creative, and use ICT in your teaching. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with certification in German for upper secondary school and one additional subject. It is meritorious if you have certification to teach Swedish at upper secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a positive, inclusive approach. Terms of Employment Individual salary determination Start date: August 26, 2010 or by agreement Background check required upon job offer.
