Description Arbrå School is now seeking a teacher of textile crafts. This is a permanent full-time position starting in the fall semester of 2026. Arbrå School is an F-9 school with approximately 300 students in two buildings – the Yellow House, where grades F-2 and the after-school program are located, and the White House, where grades 3-9 are housed. Arbrå School is a learning organization with a positive work environment and competent teaching teams focused on instruction. Here you will find simply the best that Hälsingland's fantastic nature has to offer – right around the corner. Job Responsibilities As a teacher in the crafts subject, you will teach textile crafts. In addition to teaching, you will plan, conduct, evaluate, and analyze pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and applicable governing documents. Through collaboration with other staff at the school, you will also work toward the school's development and strive to create a good environment for both students and staff. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher with qualifications to teach textile crafts in primary school. You are flexible, positive, enthusiastic, resourceful, and work with high expectations toward goals. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, the ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults, and to otherwise be a good role model. Since you will be part of a teaching team with colleagues, we see that you are a person with strong responsibility and collaboration skills. It is a merit if you have previously worked using positive behavior support (PBS).
