JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach textile craft in grades 3-6. A teaching position at our school includes working in a team with collaboration, joint planning, and shared assessment, and actively participating in the school's development work. The school's core values are - Safety, Responsibility, Respect, and Empathy. These core values should form the basis for everything we do and plan. The school staff has the responsibility to create conditions and clarify what expectations exist for students and their behavior as well as what expectations students can have of us adults on the staff. To achieve this, we have chosen to work with IBIS (Inclusive Behavior Support in Schools). Another important part of the work is our Language and Knowledge Development approach - SKUA. The goal is for us to establish methods and practices that will be used across all subjects in the school to give students better knowledge and higher academic results. The school has developed various support systems and works to provide students with the support they need to succeed. In this work, we have created a foundation of general adaptations for students to benefit from, whether it is necessary to succeed or if it simply makes it easier for the student. Clarity is one of the areas we have emphasized, and therefore one of the things we use is a model for how planning, lessons, and evaluation/assessment should be a framework for how students can be expected to experience when they come to lessons. QUALIFICATIONS Completed a teacher education program that provides eligibility. Eligibility to teach and assess in textile craft. You have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and acknowledge and reward others' contributions. You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally. You collaborate well with people in different contexts and roles. You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You easily set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities. You have the ability to adapt to changed circumstances. You encourage and support change initiatives. You easily adapt your behavior in relation to other people's needs. Employment Type: Fixed-term contract. Duration: 6 months or longer.
