Teacher of Technology/Physics/Mathematics at Bjursås School Grades 7-9 Bjursås school area is entering an exciting development phase and is now seeking an engaged and qualified teacher who wants to help shape the school of the future. The school area consists of three schools; Bjursåsskolan Grades F–9, Grycksboskolan Grades F-6, and Sågmyraskolan Grades F-6. All schools are rural schools located near beautiful green spaces and forests with excellent opportunities for outdoor activities and sports. The school area has approximately 600 students and approximately 100 staff members. In our area, we want students to feel safe and well at school and to have confidence in the adults around them. Duties As a subject teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach technology/physics/mathematics; the position may be combined with other subjects. You will plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching in relation to student learning and the school's governing documents. You will mentor students in collaboration with a colleague and will be part of a work team. Qualifications The role requires: - Teaching degree and certification for grades 7–9 Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is a responsible and clear educator with a positive approach and good communication skills. You have good demeanor and find it easy to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We see that you need to be flexible in response to short-term and long-term changes that are part of pedagogical work.
