About the Position We are now seeking a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish and English to grades 7–9. The role also includes mentorship responsibilities. Hellidsskolan is the municipality's only middle school with approximately 460 students and around 70 staff members. The school currently has five to seven parallel classes in each grade level, specialized teaching groups, and an adapted primary school program. In working with students, staff place a strong focus on the school's core values: health, knowledge, and safety. The school staff is organized into four work teams and has a fully staffed student support team. You will have the opportunity to work with students in close collaboration with other skilled, qualified, and certified educators. Qualifications We are looking for someone with the prescribed education for this position. As a person, you have a strong ability to build relationships and maintain a positive outlook. You work in a structured manner while also being flexible when needed. You already work within an expanded teaching role, see opportunities and potential to improve the student's learning environment. It matters to you that all students have good chances to succeed—you care deeply about your students' success. You have the ability to create genuinely strong relationships with students, which makes you the most important and powerful tool for creating safety and a conducive study environment both inside and outside the classroom.
