We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Spanish teacher for our national programs as well as a mentor for the Introduction Program at Kungsängsgymnasiet in beautiful Sala. We are looking for someone with solid experience working in a solution-focused manner, with a student-centered approach where each student's development and needs are at the center. About the Workplace Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern upper secondary school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. Our goal is for each student to succeed, and for three years we have received support in our work through the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Collaboration for Better Schools." Students feel safe and enjoy being at school, which is reflected in our safety surveys, and we have a high proportion of qualified teachers. For us, it is important that both students and staff are seen and that students receive the support they need. We actively work to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone has the opportunity to develop and reach their goals. Duties As a teacher with us, you will teach Spanish in the national programs and also serve as a mentor in the Introduction Program. You will become part of an engaged team and work closely with colleagues within your program and subject area as well as with the student support team. We Are Looking for Someone Who Has teaching experience and can teach Spanish at the upper secondary level. Has good collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and other staff. Has clear leadership and a strong belief in students' ability to achieve good academic results. Is flexible, creative, and uses ICT in teaching. Has worked extensively with successful mentoring. Is well versed in the introduction programs IMA/IMY/IMS Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Qualifications Is a certified teacher with qualifications in Spanish for upper secondary school, or alternatively has experience teaching Spanish at the upper secondary level. Good subject knowledge and a positive, inclusive approach. Merits Extensive experience working with mentoring. Employment Terms Individual salary setting Start date 260810 or by agreement Background check required upon offer of employment.
