The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school programs, upper secondary school, and adult education. At Arlanda Gymnasium, approximately 1300 students study. We offer 11 upper secondary programs, both college preparatory and vocational programs. The school has one of few aviation technology programs in Sweden as well as national and local sports programs in handball, football, floorball, ice hockey, and esports. Arlanda Gymnasium also offers introductory programs adapted for students who lack eligibility for a national program, and adapted upper secondary school, which is a four-year voluntary education for young people with intellectual disabilities. Our annual evaluations show that students and staff are very satisfied at our school. Skilled teachers and the school's bright and airy facilities are contributing factors to this. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Arlanda Gymnasium is now seeking an upper secondary teacher who will work with our college preparatory programs and teach Mathematics. You will work with our wonderful students in courses that place great demands on flexibility, knowledge, and curiosity. As a person, you are perceptive and creative and can meet each student based on their individual needs. Good relationships with students and colleagues are something we see as essential to successful teaching. QUALIFICATIONS You have a teaching certification in mathematics for upper secondary school and have experience teaching upper secondary students in mathematics. It is meritorious if you have an additional subject in your teaching certification. You are a confident person with very good leadership skills, are solution-focused, and have a positive approach. You give students feedback and develop their knowledge through clarity, enthusiasm, and commitment. As a classroom leader, you ensure that you create a safe atmosphere that follows the school's values and rules. You have good digital competence and feel confident using common digital tools.
