The school is located within Sofiedal's rectorship area in Valbo with proximity to a sports center and outdoor recreation, and is characterized by comfort, commitment, and forward momentum. We are now seeking a dedicated Physical Education and Health teacher for grades 4-6 in combination with instruction in additional subjects who wants to help create a safe, varied, and developmental school day for our students. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a Physical Education and Health teacher for grades 4-6, you will work with instruction, have class responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. The work is performed according to established goals and guidelines. Your work duties also include mentoring and working together with your colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. Your work duties include, among others: • Instruction in grades 4-6 according to the current curriculum in the subject of Physical Education and Health and in combination with another subject based on qualifications. • Class responsibility and mentoring. • Mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of instruction. • You challenge and support students so they achieve good academic results and adapt your instruction based on all students' needs and conditions. • You collaborate with other teachers, guardians, and the school's student health services. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Teacher certification and teaching license with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in the subject of Physical Education and Health in combination with qualifications in another subject. • Good knowledge of the primary school curriculum. • Experience working with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office 365. • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. • It is a merit for the position if you have qualifications in multiple subjects, including Math/Science and Social Studies. To succeed in the role, you have: • the ability to lead and motivate your students and create an environment where they feel comfortable, well, and sense of belonging • an inclusive approach and actively work to ensure all students feel included in instruction • the ability to create open dialogue and adapt your communication based on situation and audience Employment type: Permanent employment.
