About the Workplace Vasalundsskolan is an independent primary school (grades F-9) with approximately 400 students. The school is located next to Lundsbäck's allotment garden area in beautiful and green Vasatorp in Helsingborg, easily accessible either by car or public transportation. Collaborative learning is something we hold close to our hearts and work with constantly. We enjoy working together and collaborate closely within teams, which means you are never alone. The school is a multicultural school where Swedish culture lives side by side with Arabic culture. Qualifications We are looking for you—a licensed Physical Education and Health teacher who has worked with all ages in a F-9 school. However, you will work with lower and middle elementary students. You must have documented experience teaching the grade levels relevant to this position. We would like you to contribute engagement, creativity, and drive to develop our activities. You meet each student with respect and attentiveness. You need to have very strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, since our students' language development must constantly be strengthened. As a teacher with us, you work to create a safe, enjoyable, and educational school. You lead and develop educational activities together with the different teams. You possess strong leadership qualities to create good conditions for a positive learning environment with your students. Regardless of where you are in your career, you contribute to students' social well-being through compensatory work. You should be able to handle being challenged by students and also be able to rejoice in their successes. As a person, you are solution-focused, unpretentious, and flexible with good computer skills. Your approach is results- and development-oriented. Furthermore, you create sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues thanks to good collaboration skills.
