Description Are you ready for meaningful and rewarding work? We are now seeking an engaged after-school teacher at Grythyttans School. Grythyttans School is an F-6 school with approximately 130 students. The school is characterized by a strong sense of community among the staff, where we support each other regardless of assignment. Responsibilities As an after-school teacher you will: Plan, implement, and evaluate the pedagogical work in your after-school program as well as break-time activities. Work closely with your colleagues to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for students. Be a clear leader in the classroom and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Work consciously with language stimulation and create accessible learning environments for all students. Adapt instruction according to students' needs and work relationally to promote their learning and development. Work in an engaged team that together contributes to a positive learning environment and strong workplace community. Qualifications We are looking for you who are trained as an after-school teacher with teacher certification or equivalent education. You should be well versed in the school's governing documents and have the ability to create accessible learning environments. We would like you to have: Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Clear and confident leadership skills in the classroom. Commitment to teaching and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues. If qualified applicants are lacking, the employer may consider hiring a non-qualified person deemed suitable for the work, on a limited-term basis according to the Education Act. Merit Factors Previous experience working in after-school programs. Basic IT skills. Terms The position is a full-time temporary assignment for 6 months with possible extension. Great weight is placed on personal suitability and interviews are held on an ongoing basis. You must provide an extract from the criminal record register to be hired.
