Grades 1-6 Subjects and Grades 1-9 Subject Areas are located at Parkskolan. Grades 7-9 Subjects are located at Stora Vallaskolan. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be with the students throughout the entire school day, during lessons, breaks, and in the after-school program. Together with teaching staff, you work closely with the students to create conditions for learning toward goals and participation in instruction. You work together actively to adapt instruction, provide appropriate care, and develop alternative working methods and use compensatory aids to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment. We strive to create continuity with learning throughout the day and a common thread between school and after-school program for the students, and in this work you have an important role. Since the position is primarily directed toward subject areas, it is important that you can also support in various care matters. QUALIFICATIONS You are a certified teacher with at least qualifications for teaching in preschool/after-school programs. You are a positive person with the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We see that you have experience working with students who need AAC, alternative and augmentative communication, and have the ability to interpret social interactions and signals from the students. You listen, communicate, and resolve situations in a constructive manner while creating engagement and participation. You easily find collaborative working methods and see the work team as an asset. Furthermore, you are engaged with good social skills that contribute to a positive work environment and have the ability to build trusting relationships. You work within a clear structure and have good pedagogical skills. As an educator, you adapt instruction according to each student's unique circumstances and see school development as a natural part of your mission. To understand students' different needs, you need to have good analytical and pedagogical skills, high expectations, and a conviction that all students can develop.
