What We Offer You Björkhagaskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school located in central Söderköping with proximity to an outdoor swimming pool, library, sports hall, skating rink, forest, and nature. The operations are conducted in two buildings, Haga and Björkbacken. In the Haga building, our after-school programs for grades F and 1 are located, and at Björkbacken, after-school care for grades 2-6 is offered. Grades F, 1, and 6 have their classrooms in Haga, grades 2-5 at Björkbacken. The after-school program is organized in F-1 and 2-6 tracks, H-classes and E-classes respectively. There are four departments, with three educators working on each department. With us, you will meet experienced and knowledgeable colleagues who will be able to support you in your work. There are also well-established routines to rely on. Söderköping Municipality conducts joint professional development work for after-school programs, with continuous meetings for all educators. At these meetings, you will meet colleagues from other schools' after-school programs and exchange experiences with them. Job Description We are now seeking a new colleague for one of our F-1 departments. You will work in kindergarten or in grade 1. If you have qualifications in art or physical education, you may also have the opportunity to teach these subjects. During after-school program hours, you work on one of our F-1 departments, where you together with your colleagues are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction. The after-school program operates based on a well-established annual cycle. Progression is ensured through a shared annual curriculum framework. Qualifications You are a qualified after-school program teacher. You have a holistic perspective on the assignment and look out for the best interests of the entire operation. You are creative and bring your own ideas and suggestions for improvements. You recognize the value of good relationships with students and guardians and work to establish them. You collaborate well with others, listening in but also contributing your own opinions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
