Kungsängsgymnasiet in beautiful Sala is seeking an experienced and dedicated English teacher. Ideally, you also have certification to teach social studies, or at least English combined with another subject. About the Workplace Kungsängsgymnasiet is a modern upper secondary school with approximately 480 students. We offer eight national programs as well as an Introduction Program. Our goal is for every student to succeed, and over three years we have received support from the Swedish National Agency for Education's initiative "Collaboration for the Best School." Job Responsibilities As a teacher with us, you will teach English in the national programs. You will be part of an engaged team and collaborate closely with colleagues within program and subject areas and closely with the Student Support Team. You will be part of the program team for the business program, and mentoring is included in the position. We are Looking for You Have certification, pedagogical experience, and can teach English and an additional subject at upper secondary level. Ideally, you also have certification to teach social studies at upper secondary level. Have strong collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and other staff. Are flexible, creative, and use ICT in your teaching. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Qualifications Are a licensed teacher with certification in English for upper secondary school and one additional subject. Meritorious if you have certification to teach social studies at upper secondary level. Good subject knowledge and a positive, inclusive approach. Terms of Employment Individual salary setting Start date 260810 or by agreement Criminal record check required upon job offer.
