The school is centrally located in Höör with access to a park, swimming pool, library, ice rink, athletics facility, bus station, and train station. Approximately 65 staff members work here, and for the fall term 2026, approximately 450 students are expected to be taught at the school. We actively work to develop the quality of teaching in order to deepen student learning. We also work with sustainability in many areas, with the goal that education and the work environment are safe and sustainable. Starting in the fall, the school will have two Sports Profiles: one in football in collaboration with MFF and one in handball in collaboration with H65. A complete renovation of the school is underway, and by January 2027 it will be fully renovated and expanded. The school has a student health team with diverse expertise focused on preventive and health-promoting work. Special educators and specialist teachers are part of their respective work teams for grades 7-9. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will primarily teach biology and chemistry. You have a positive, relational, and professional approach. You are also flexible, have clear classroom leadership, show great commitment, and have high expectations in your work. You will be a pedagogically cohesive force in the classroom who, through inclusion, individualization, and the ability to work relationally, achieves good academic results. For you, sustainable assessment for learning is central. You strive for all students to achieve more than they thought possible, and you are well familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents. You will be part of a work team where you are expected to collaborate closely with other teachers, the work team, and the school's student health team. Co-planning and assessment with subject colleagues are part of the work. Mentorship of a grade level together with a colleague is included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS Qualified and licensed teacher in science subjects for middle school. As a person, you are motivated by close collaboration and listen and communicate in a constructive manner. You have a good understanding of students' different prerequisites for acquiring knowledge and communicate clearly with them. You plan and organize your work efficiently so that your student groups achieve good goal fulfillment. Salary form: Monthly salary. Type of employment: Permanent employment. Work hours: Daytime. The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and the position not needing to be used for internal purposes.
