Welcome to Navetskolan! We are an adapted primary school that will be launching a new preschool class at Rosendal F-3 in the fall of 2026, and we need a new team member for this. We are seeking a preschool teacher/F-3 teacher with placement in preschool class. It is meritorious to have experience from adapted schools, and if you have a degree as a special educator with a focus on intellectual disabilities, you are exactly who we are looking for. Job Responsibilities As a pedagogue with us, you work in preschool class and after-school care. You help create a permissive and supportive work climate, where you are an important part of a collective team. You work together with colleagues in your work team and have access to, for example, special education expertise and student welfare resources, which creates security and quality in teaching. You plan and implement instruction based on each student's abilities, create good conditions for learning, and stimulate and challenge students' development and learning. As one of the educators in the adapted primary school, you have, together with your colleagues, responsibility for providing students with the pedagogical and social support they need. Your work includes close collaboration with guardians, the school's student welfare team, and also other external professionals, such as rehabilitation services and LSS. Furthermore, you collaborate with other activities at the school such as primary school and other activities within the adapted primary school. Requirements for the position: Licensed preschool teacher or licensed teacher with F-3 focus Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious for the position: Special educator with a focus on intellectual disabilities Experience working in an adapted school Experience working with children/students with autism Further education in: Neuropsychiatric and intellectual disabilities Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) Visual supports and structure Qualities: As a person, we see that you have good collaboration skills in order to achieve our goals. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. About the Workplace Navetskolan is an adapted primary school for students with intellectual disabilities. The school is located in central Asarum and offers instruction for grades 1–9, which currently consists of approximately 60 students. Navetskolan consists of four departments, which are located at Stenbackanavet, in the Lindemo area, and in a building in close proximity to Klockebacksskolan. The school has approximately 50 employees, educators, and student assistants, who work together in teams. Information About the Position Scope: Full-time Type of Employment: Permanent employment, vacation position. Permanent employment can only become relevant if you have a license.
