The school has approximately 145 students in total. The school has an after-school program. The school's student well-being has a central role in the school's work, both preventatively and supportively, and is active in values-based education. Access to a school counselor and school nurse, special education teacher, and educational psychologist is available. We all work as a team and solve any challenges together. Our prioritized areas are the Swedish language, and we actively work to create a shared value foundation. Job Responsibilities You will become an important part of a grades 4-6 team. We work very closely in grades 4-6, where all students belong to all of us! Everyone at the school actively works with safety and work environment, for both educators and students. The team works across class boundaries, which we have seen has increased security for students. You will teach certain parts of the curriculum and your colleagues will teach the other parts. We are good at supporting each other and usually have two adults in the classroom. The school has common recess activities in the mornings where you are expected to contribute/supervise. Recess activities are organized/conducted through school collaboration. You are expected to help and support so that collaboration can occur! The position may be modified based on your qualifications and expertise. Qualifications - You are a certified teacher for grades 4-6 and work systematically to improve students' conditions for achieving maximum learning outcomes. - You are well-versed in Lgr22 and plan your instruction based on curriculum guidelines. - You have experience working in a school. - You are knowledgeable about work with special accommodations. - You are flexible regarding both content and working hours. All to best meet our students. - You are clear, organized, well-structured, attentive, and most importantly—a team player. - You are engaged in your role and passionate about leading students in their development both academically and socially. - You have a strong ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. - You enjoy leading and/or driving development initiatives, promoting new thoughts and ideas with your colleagues that move Töråsskolan forward. - You are solution-oriented and have the ability to create a good atmosphere and positive work environment. - You see the benefits of collaborative learning. - You recognize that cooperation and shared vision benefit student development. Your contribution as a colleague is deeply connected to your ability to collaborate and participate in your own and the organization's development.
