Apply for the position today or recommend someone who might be a good fit! Our Operations The Resource School is a new operation that started in November 2025. The Resource School focuses on accessibility and inclusive learning environments from a health-promoting and preventive student well-being perspective. The Resource School is located in Hemmesta east of Gustavsberg, approximately 30 minutes by direct bus from Slussen. The school is an elementary school and will consist of 4 classes as of fall 2026. The school also has an after-school program. The school has a strong focus on well-developed work with accommodations, visual support and digital aids in instruction. The school has licensed expertise in all practical-aesthetic subjects and a well-functioning student well-being service where all competencies are included. Expertise in PBS (Positive Behavioral Support) and TBA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is high. Your Assignment The teacher assignment involves leading all parts of your instruction and following up on each student's development and learning. Each group (class) consists of 9-10 students, a teaching teacher and 2-3 resources (student assistants). As the teaching teacher, you are responsible for most of the daily instruction. You also have responsibility for leading the support staff in the class. This teaching position includes mentor responsibility for one of the classes at the Resource School. The mentor and the class's resources form a class team that has dedicated time for weekly planning and follow-up. As a teacher, you are part of a teacher work team. The entire staff works on the school's overarching issues, prioritized goals and development processes during staff meetings and professional development days. Your Experience We are looking for someone who has an elementary teacher degree for grades F-3 with broad qualifications in academic subjects. If you have special education teacher qualifications, this is considered a merit. It is meritorious if you have experience working based on PBS (Positive Behavioral Support), low-affect interaction and TBA (Applied Behavior Analysis). Your Personal Qualities As a person, you are clear in your leadership, skilled at including others and have the ability to work in a structured manner. You are engaged and solution-focused, working for a good work environment for both your students and colleagues. You work well with others and are a creative team player. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. For this position, providing a valid extract from the police's criminal record register is a requirement for employment. The position may be filled provided that no one with preference rights due to redundancy makes a claim on the position.
