We are now seeking a teacher for grades 4-6 who wants to help build a safe, structured, and developmental learning environment where every student has the right conditions to succeed. The department's activities span the entire municipality and include preschool, elementary school grades F-9, adapted elementary school, after-school care, food services and facilities management, mother tongue instruction, and library services. A Day as a Teacher at Sånghusvallens School As a teacher with us, you work in a team where collaboration and shared responsibility for students' learning are central. You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction based on the curriculum and students' needs. You have an important role both as a teacher and mentor in creating structure, safety, and an orderly classroom environment, as well as in building strong relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You will work closely with colleagues at both the school and the nearby after-school care to create a cohesive school day experience for students. Your Competence For this position, we have the following requirements: You have teacher certification with authorization to teach in grades 4–6 You are well-acquainted with the school's governing documents and have the ability to implement them in your teaching You have a strong ability to create structure, clarity, and safety in the classroom You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and maintain a professional approach in your work You have strong collaboration skills and see the work team as a resource in your work It is meritorious if you have the following qualities: Experience teaching in the lower grades Experience with language and knowledge-building teaching methods and early literacy initiatives Knowledge of accommodations and working with students in need of special support We place great importance on your personal qualities.
